  Yes.

• Can ACo help us with our Homeowner’s Association?

• Can I make changes to my project after we start?

  Sure. Through a process of a change order agreed upon by our customer and ACo, we can make modifications to your project as needed.

• Can our family stay in our house while it's being remodeled?

  Absolutely, we are very conscientious of our customer’s needs. We make sure to take precautions such as taping off doorways and flooring to protect your home and keep dust down.

• Do you give free estimates?

  Affordable Kitchens and Bathrooms provides 100% free estimates.

• Do you guarantee your work?

  We warranty all work done and all items purchased by ACo for one year.

• Do you have a list of references?

• Do you only do Kitchens and Bathrooms?

  No! Affordable Kitchens and Bathrooms is a full-service general contracting company. ACo is capable of performing any service from handyman work to new construction.

• Do you use sub-contractors?

  Most home or business remodeling projects will be completed by our staff of professionals. However, for large scale projects or specialty projects we may use subcontractors who we believe will provide you the best quality work while maintaining ACo standards. All sub-contractors are required to show proof of insurance before working on an ACo project.

• How do we choose the actual products and appliances we want installed?

  We work with a network of designers and suppliers where our customers can receive advice and make selections to fit their personal preferences.

• How do you estimate how long it will take?

  By continuously tracking previous projects, we are able to determine the normal length of time each segment of any particular project should take. We’ve put a lot of resources into making estimates fast, accurate, and most importantly detailed.

• How does ACo stay up to date with the latest technologies and trends in home remodeling?

  We take pride in continuously educating our staff to keep up with the latest trends. We regularly attend product training courses and conventions relating to our field of expertise.

• How long has ACo been in business?

  ACo has been uniquely enriching the homes Central Indiana since 2004.

• How will the rest of our house stay clean during our project?

  By providing continuous cleanup throughout the project, tarping doorways and other necessary steps, we work to minimize dust and debris in your home. Additionally, we provide thorough cleaning of the work area once the project is complete.

• I already have a couple estimates. Why are they so different?

  Remember, price does not usually equal value! Bids that are significantly lower or higher than all others should be questioned. ACo will provide you with an estimate that breaks down costs so that you know how we arrived at our estimate total.

• I had someone start a job and not finish, can you help me?

  Yes. Although it is not an ideal situation, we understand your need and are willing to assist you.

• I've heard some contractors hire "shady characters," do you do criminal background checks on the people you use?

  Yes. ACo hires only the best people. We believe in hiring for attitude and training for skill.

• Is ACo licensed, insured, and bonded? …and what exactly do each of those mean?

  Yes. ACo is licensed, bonded and insured. LICENSED – says a company is registered to perform certain types of work and only those types of work; for example, siding – wood & other, window installation, etc. You as a consumer can check up on a contractor’s license number to see if they are current, legal, or have complaints against them and all sorts of great information. BONDED – A bonded company has secured funds (controlled by the state) that are available for consumer’s claims against the company. This money is directly available to you for various reasons as controlled by a state agency. INSURED – If the unspeakable happens, it’s important that the contractor or company has insurance. In some cases, such as an injury: you as a homeowner could be held liable – if the company has no insurance.

• We want to work with an interior designer, do you have experience with designers?

  Absolutely, we have designers to assist in selections if needed.

• We're going to have a lot of questions. Will we have a hard time reaching our project leader?

  No. If you cannot reach an ACo representative, you may leave a message. We promise to return calls within 24 hours. We are always Internet connected as well.

• We've seen that Lowe's, Home Depot, and the big stores offer remodeling services, how is ACo different?

  At ACo, our focus is on quality, customer service and attention to detail. We work with our customers in all phases of the project from planning and design through installation to ensure complete satisfaction with a personal touch. We specialize in quality products and superior service.

• What happens if my job is going to cost more than the estimate you gave me?

  Costs above and beyond the estimate are called change orders. All change orders are documented and require customer approval.

• What types of professional organizations does ACo belong to?
