Concrete Tile
In a previous blog post, we referenced pattern in relation to tile. The ideas are never-ending and the product lines are ever-expanding. A tile product I can’t get my eyes off of is encaustic tile – also known as cement tile. This tile is durable, resilient and oh-so-fun! Take a look for yourself…

Installation Areas
Consumers might easily consider encaustic tile for their floor in a small space such as a powder bath or laundry, but how about a full bathroom floor, backsplash or even a fireplace hearth! In other portions of the world, cement tile has been used for many years – in basically any space thinkable throughout a home.

How about the maintenance?
Consult the Affordable Companies for materials and installation, as there are best practices to ensure a successful installation. Being porous in nature, cement tile should be sealed periodically to maintain their natural beauty and avoid any stains. In addition, clean with a mop and water or with products safe to use on concrete.
We are excited to incorporate one of The Affordable Companies’ beautiful encaustic tiles in an upcoming client’s secondary bath addition project!
