Cozy and Calm Cottage Kitchen

New tile and a fresh coat of paint were only a small sample of what was need to elevate this dark kitchen and turn it into a calm and cozy space. 

These homeowners’ wanted a major kitchen update to reflect more of their personal style. Using a soft, warm neutral palette with wood and bronze tones throughout the kitchen, designer Mia Farrell helped create a whole new aesthetic. Butcher block, beadboard, and blue accent tiles were also used to spice up this soft color palette. 

A custom coffee bar and a cabinet hood allowed for a new home for the microwave freeing up valuable countertop space.  Creating a dedicated location for coffee broke up the wall of cabinets and contributes to a more welcoming and homey space.
