Matte black accents and warm wood tones on a sleek white background are all the rage in the design world today. This project from ACo Designer Dani Kohl perfectly illustrates the appeal of that Scandinavian style with its clean, simple lines that are minimalist without sacrificing a beautiful aesthetic.
When it comes to your home’s primary bathroom, function is a necessity. Many homeowners may delay renovating a space that guests never see. Until the maintenance issues start to stack up, such as a leaky shower. That leaky shower then makes you take notice of the outdated fixtures, the dim lighting, and everything else that no longer meets your needs.
Such was the case for these homeowners. They were ready to take their dated nineties bathroom and update it to a bright space, with more storage more suited to their modern minimalist style.
The client took full advantage of the opportunity to renovate and transformed this bathroom into a sleek and modern primary suite. There are so many things to love about this bathroom from the clean look of the white floors to the soaking tub and warm wood-look tile in the shower space. However, the real statement piece is the dramatic and stylish extra-long vanity. Featuring a soft, white quartz countertop and huge drawers with sliding organizers to keep everything in its place, this furniture-style vanity is a showstopper. The minimalist white sconces between mirrors complete the modern look.
