You can never have enough storage, right? If this rings true for you, two master closets might sound like a dream. However, for these homeowners, two large master closets meant they didn’t have enough space in other areas, such as their too small shower. What they really wanted was a bright, open master bathroom retreat rather than a dark, cramped room that lacked functional space.
Relying on designer Mia Farrell and the rest of the ACo team, the homeowners set out to transform their tired, dark space into a brand-new bathroom oasis. One of their top goals was to better utilize some of that excess closet space.
Reconfiguring the closet layout created the opportunity to expand the shower and add a new window for natural light. Adding white Wellborn Forest cabinetry, white quartz countertop, and white dragon scale-like tile, transformed the dark space into a fresh white canvas. For contrast, medium toned wood floors bring warmth and visual interest. Flipping the vanities to the other side of the room along the new shower wall still left plenty of space in the footprint to maintain “his and hers” dual closets.
The result is a bright, clean, spacious master bathroom with plenty of functional space and storage.
